Hans Retail LLC Return Policy

30-Day Return Policy

At Hans Retail LLC, customer satisfaction is important to us. Due to the nature of our products and fulfillment process, please carefully review the following return policy before placing an order.

Eligibility for Returns

Hans Retail LLC accepts returns and replacements only for items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect due to an error on our part.

Returns are not accepted for:

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Incorrect product selection by the customer

  • Items ordered in the wrong size, color, finish, voltage, specification, or style

  • Products that do not fit the customer’s space or intended application

  • Change of mind after purchase

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all product descriptions, dimensions, specifications, compatibility, and images before placing an order.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances:

  • Parts and accessories, including but not limited to:

    • Medallions

    • Remotes

    • Down rods

    • Crystal prisms

    • Home decor items

    • Miscellaneous replacement pieces

  • Custom-made products

  • Made-to-order items

  • Special order products

  • Open-box items

  • Modified products

  • Items processed using store credit

NO EXCEPTIONS.

Damaged or Defective Items

Customers must inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.

If an item arrives damaged or defective:

  • Hans Retail LLC must be notified within 7 days of delivery.

  • Customers must email clear photographs of:

    • The damaged item

    • The packaging

    • The shipping label

  • Photographs and claim details must be sent to:
    sales@hanslumiere.com

Failure to report shipping damage within 7 days may result in denial of the claim.

After review, Hans Retail LLC may:

  • Ship replacement parts,

  • Send a replacement product,

  • Or request return of the damaged merchandise.

If a return is required for a verified damaged or defective item:

  • Hans Retail LLC will provide a prepaid return shipping label when applicable.

  • The original item must be returned before a replacement or refund is processed.

Expedited shipping for replacements is not the responsibility of Hans Retail LLC.

Return Authorization (RMA)

If a return is approved, Customer Service will issue an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number via email.

Requirements:

  • The RMA number must be clearly displayed on the return shipping label.

  • Returns without an RMA number may be refused or delayed.

  • Approved returns must be shipped within 15 days of receiving the RMA.

Return Shipping Requirements

For approved returns:

  • Items must be unused, unassembled, and in original packaging.

  • Customers must properly seal and protect the package.

  • Customers should use a shipping carrier that provides tracking and insurance.

Refunds

Refunds are issued only after:

  • Returned merchandise is received and inspected by Hans Retail LLC.

Approved refunds:

  • Will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days,

  • Less any outbound shipping costs where applicable.

Once a refund or store credit has been issued, no further transactions can be processed back to the original payment method.

Photographic Evidence Requirement

Before any return or claim can be processed, customers must provide:

  • Clear photographs of the item,

  • Photographs of all packaging materials,

  • A brief written explanation of the issue.

Review of submitted documentation typically takes 2–3 business days.

Important Notice

Returned merchandise received in violation of this policy may:

  • Be refused,

  • Returned to sender,

  • Or credited solely at the discretion of Hans Retail LLC.

By placing an order with Hans Retail LLC, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this return policy.
